<p>Proposed is an electric vacuum cleaner having a cylinder-shaped filter in a cylinder-shaped container main body, wherein fibrous dust being difficult to be wound around the filter. The electric vacuum cleaner (1) includes: a cylinder-shaped container main body (35); a first filter section (37) which has a shape of a cylinder shorter than the cylinder-shaped container main body (35) stored in the cylinder-shaped container main body (35) which forms a ring-shaped separation chamber (51) between the first filter and the cylinder-shaped container main body (35); an isolated section (38) which has a diameter greater than the diameter of the first filter section (37) and a diameter smaller than the diameter of the cylinder-shaped container main body (35), an isolation chamber (38) which forms a dust collection chamber (52) close to an end of the first filter section (37) neighboring to the ring-shaped separation chamber (51) to communicate with the separation chamber, and a rotary support (41) which supports the first filter section (37) to freely be rotated around the center axis (C) as the axis of rotation.</p> |
