The present invention relates to a method of extracting a variety of active ingredients like saponin as the main active ingredient of ginseng, and excellent water-insoluble polysaccharide with high-yield. The method of the present invention is a high yield method of extracting a variety of active ingredients including the active ingredients unutilized in the conventional extracting method by using pressurized hot water as a solvent.
