Disclosed is a method and apparatus for estimating a target direction in a jammer environment. The method for estimating a target direction comprises the steps of calculating a covariance matrix using a jammer signal received via a radar array antenna after sending monopulse and calculating a jammer suppression matrix using the covariance matrix; calculating a weight vector for the direction of the array antenna using the jammer suppression matrix; and calculating an estimate of the direction of the target by using the weight vector.
