PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual image display device which is easy to wear even for spectacles users.SOLUTION: A nose piece 40 for supporting purpose is fixedly arranged on a frame portion 102 at a position that does not interfere with a nose pad 9d of a pair of spectacles 9, which allows a viewer wearing a pair of spectacles 9 to wear a virtual image display device 100 on top of the spectacles and view good blurless images from an image display element (picture element) 82. Furthermore, the fact that the nose piece 40 comprises a core metal portion 40a and a resin portion 40b covering the core metal portion 40a allows for greater flexibility in terms of the shape of the nose piece 40 and greater strength thereof, and thereby enabling the nose piece 40 to be arranged in a limited space to secure a space for accommodating a pair of spectacles 9. |
