PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure determination apparatus for a photovoltaic power generation system capable of achieving prescribed accuracy of failure determination while suppressing the scale of equipment from increasing.SOLUTION: The failure determination apparatus includes: an actually measured value acquisition section that acquires a measurement value obtained by measuring the power generation amount of a photovoltaic power generation apparatus; a predicted power generation amount calculation section that calculates a predicted power generation amount obtained by predicting the power amount of the photovoltaic power generation apparatus when measuring the actually measured value; a determination section that determines whether or not a failure exists in the photovoltaic power generation apparatus on the basis of the predicted power generation amount calculated by the predicted power generation amount calculation section and the actually measured value acquired by the actually measured value acquisition section.
