PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus capable of uniformly heating a conductive plate material over the entire length in the width direction.SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus includes a transfer passage 2 on which a conductive plate material W is transferred, a first flat plate-like coil group 3 arranged above the transfer passage 2, and a second flat plate-like coil group 4 arranged below the transfer passage 2. The first flat plate-like coil group 3 and the second flat plate-like coil group 4 each have a plurality of flat plate-like element coils 10 each provided with magnetic paths along a vertical direction perpendicular to the transfer passage 2 in the center and the outer periphery, and each having a shape having a longitudinal direction in a plan view. The plurality of flat plate-like element coils 10 are arranged in a width direction perpendicular to a transfer direction, and arranged so that the longitudinal direction is inclined to the transfer direction. |
