PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: foreign substances such as shavings generated when a fixing member 21 is rubbed, and a minute amount of paper powder present on the surface of sheets, are accumulated to gradually fill spaces on an abrasive grain layer of a refresh roller 51, which results in the occurrence of a problem of a reduction in surface roughness.SOLUTION: High-pressure air is injected to the surface of a refresh roller 51 to remove foreign substances clogged among abrasive grains. Slide driving mechanisms 70 to 74 reciprocatingly moves an air cleaning member 50 having an air nozzle 54 for injecting air to the refresh roller 51 in a longitudinal direction of the refresh roller 51. |
