PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new liquid treatment method and apparatus which can use a concentrated liquid recovered by a centrifugal separation method as ballast water.SOLUTION: A liquid treatment method having a storage process including performing physical treatment of a supply liquid supplied to storage means in a housing using a centrifugal force includes: performing inactivation treatment of aquatic organisms in a concentrated liquid obtained by the physical treatment using the centrifugal force; and supplying the concentrated liquid subjected to the inactivation treatment to the storage means.
