PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for an end user to reliably browse a message transmitted from a remote place by a maintenance service provider in an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus 1 including an operation panel 11, a display control unit 23 displays a message screen on the operation panel 11 if message data is not deleted; and (a) an agent unit 25 cancels the display on the message screen, if the operation panel 11 receives first operation by a user for display cancellation when the message screen is displayed on the operation panel 11, until the user logs out, and (b) deletes the message data when the operation panel 11 receives the first operation by all users specified by apparatus settings.
