PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor controller capable of following a transient state as when a current changes suddenly and capable of exhibiting the requested capacity as a product without requiring a dedicated sensor for monitoring heat generation.SOLUTION: Provided is a motor pump drive controller comprising: an inverter circuit for supplying, to three-phase terminals of the armature coil of a brushless motor for driving a motor pump, a power supply voltage whose duty ratio is variably controlled by opening and closing a switching element by pulse width modulation control; a PWM generation circuit for generating a pulse width modulation signal of a duty ratio corresponding to the load of the brushless motor; an inverter control device for sending out, to the inverter circuit, an electrical continuity control signal based on the pulse width modulation signal; and a heat generation control unit for setting the duty ratio of the pulse width modulation signal to 100% by pulse width modulation control when a prescribed duty ratio of the pulse width modulation signal at which the heat temperature generated in the switching element exceeds a preset threshold temperature is exceeded. |
