PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for performing a background advance announcement by a simple control in a background image to be scroll-displayed.SOLUTION: At specific positions B1C and B1R on a background image B1, there are displayed specific images C1 and C2, which are constituted of drawing patterns in a mode of a dark color tone. At specific positions B2C and B2R on a background image B2, there are displayed specific images C1' and C2', which are constituted of drawing patterns in a mode of brighter color tone. From the background image B1, there are selected a display part G having a size corresponding to that of the display area of the image display device, and the selected display part G is displayed in the image display device. As the display part G to be selected from the background image B1 is moved rightward thereby to scroll-display the background image B1 rightward. The background image to be used when the display part G is selected is switched into the background image B1 and the background image B2, and the specific image C1 displayed in the background image B1 and the specific image C1' displayed in the background image B2 are switched. |
