PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refill toner storage container which allows speedy toner filling work while preventing scattering of toner.SOLUTION: The toner storage container includes: a toner storage part 1 in which toner 4 is stored; a connection cylinder part 5 which is connected to the toner storage part 1 to be integrated with the toner storage part 1; an insertion cylinder part 6 which is to be filled with the toner 4 stored in the toner storage part 1 and is inserted to a toner supply port; and a foldable toner guide cylinder part 7 which connects the insertion cylinder part 6 and the connection cylinder part 5 to guide the toner 4 in the toner storage part 1 from the connection cylinder part 5 toward the insertion cylinder part 6. The toner guide cylinder part 7 has an angular guide opening 10. The toner guide cylinder part 7 is provided with folds 12 so that a throttle valve 11 is formed to close the guide opening 10 by twisting the connection cylinder part 5 in one direction relatively to the insertion cylinder part 6 and is lost to open the guide opening 10 by twisting the connection cylinder part 5 in a direction opposite to the one direction.
