PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article improved in absorption performance and fitness while realizing a weight saving and a low cost.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 200 comprises: a liquid permeable top sheet 202; a liquid impermeable back sheet 204, and an absorbent layer 210 arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorbent layer has an upper layer 211 on the top sheet side and a lower layer 212 on the back sheet side. The upper layer is narrower than the lower layer, and has a thickness t1 more than 30% and less than 70% of the total thickness (t1+t2) of the upper layer and the lower layer. As viewed from the upper layer side, there are formed a first emboss 211e recessed from the upper layer to the lower layer, and a second emboss 212e formed only in the lower layer squeezing out widthwise from the upper layer and made shallower than the first emboss. |
