PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for highly efficiently descaling a stainless annealing steel strip by a scale breaker, a shot blast and acid cleaning treatment.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the stainless steel strip, when applying shot blast treatment to a surface of a stainless hot rolled annealing steel strip, an average particle size of a projection material is 0.25-0.80 mm, a projection speed is 40-100 m/s, and projection energy falls within a range of an annealing method and the following formula corresponding toa Cr quantity, and then, acid cleaning is applied. A Bell annealing stainless steel strip: 5/3Cr+200/3Cr+760(kJ/m) or more, and a continuous annealing stainless steel strip: 50(kJ/m) or more, and the projection energy is 0.5×projection density×a projection speed. Here, Cr in the formula is the Cr content (mass%) of a steel material. |
