PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a fiber for fiber-reinforced resins which is easy to impregnate with a matrix resin between fibers.SOLUTION: A method of producing a fiber for fiber-reinforced resins comprises subjecting a fiber which is at least selected from carbon fiber and glass fiber and adhered with a sizing agent to at least one treatment selected form ozonation, UV-ray irradiation with wavelengths of 400 nm or shorter, and a plasma treatment so as to increase the wettability with matrix resins. The fiber obtained is easy to impregnate with a matrix resin between fibers.
