Disclosed are an eco-friendly energy-saving type hybrid transformer and a controlling method thereof capable of maintaining the balance of electric power (voltage, current) which flows in the transformer even if only single phase power is used in the transformer ofΔ-Y connection type and removing higher harmonic waves autonomously in the transformer. The disclosed eco-friendly energy-saving type hybrid transformer includes: a first leg, a second leg, and a third leg which are formed with an iron core; first to third windings of a secondary coil, which are wound on the first leg in order at fixed intervals; fourth to sixth windings of the secondary coil, which are wound on the second leg in order at fixed intervals; and seventh to ninth windings of the secondary coil which are wound on the third leg in order at fixed intervals. The first winding, the fifth winding, and the ninth winding are connected, and the seventh winding, the second winding, and the sixth winding are connected. And the fourth winding, the eighth winding, and the third winding are connected. |
