PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine to change the sheet format for a pneumatic drum for processing sheets to different formats.SOLUTION: A pneumatic drum (1) comprises: an outer sleeve (5) with a plurality of pneumatic nozzle channels (7) and an inner sleeve (4) with a covering segment (11) for covering the nozzle channels (7) in a format-dependent way. A first motor (13) is provided to rotate the inner sleeve (4) relative to the outer sleeve (5) while the machine is running to carry out a flying format change.
