PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead storage cell preventing temperature variance between cell chambers by dealing with self-heating of the lead storage cell and eccentricity in an environmental temperature in accordance with a portion of the lead storage cell.SOLUTION: In the lead storage cell, electrode plate groups are accommodated within cell chambers of an electrolyzer where a plurality of cell chambers 7 to 12 are arrayed. The lead storage cell has a space 4 where double walls formed from an electrolyzer outer wall 2 and an electrolyzer inner wall 2' are communicated, around a side surface of the electrolyzer. The space 4 is communicated with one cell chamber 10, among the cell chambers of the lead storage cell, via an electrolyte flow passage 5 and shares an electrolyte with the cell chamber. A temperature difference between cell chambers can be prevented by convection of the electrolyte. Preferably, the cell chamber to which the space 4 is communicated is disposed at a position away from an external heat source among the plurality of cell chambers, thereby further reducing the temperature variance of the electrolyte between the cell chambers. |
