PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device that surely detects the unused state of the image projection device to attain both of energy-saving effect and convenience.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: detection means for detecting variation of image data of an image during projection; and timing means for timing a time for which the variation of the image data detected by the detection means is equal to or less than a predetermined value when executing a normal mode. When the time timed by the timing means is equal to or more than a predetermined time, the image projection device transfers from the normal mode to a power reduction mode. |
