A cover for an easily-opened vessel which can be re-sealed, for pouring milk, is in two or more layers, typically of plastic, glued together. The bottom one has a weakened line defining a pouring mouth, and the top one second such lines extending beyond the first to the periphery, so as to form a hinging lip covering the mouth and pulled open, taking the material of the bottom layer inside the weakened line with it. The mouth is wide enough to give good venting, and edges are formed of sufficiently small radius to prevent drops sticking to them. The top layer protrudes far enough outwards to form a grip.
|
