<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frozen confectionery having a component combination which enables a manufacturer to continuously give excellent property stimulating a sense organ, and at the same time, decrease calorie influence to consumers who want a calorie intake limit. <P>SOLUTION: The frozen confectionery contains <5 wt.% of triglyceride fat, polydextrose, and tricalcium. The product contains polydextrose and cream which are arbitrarily combined with tricalcium and/or karaya gum, so as to produce low fat frozen confectionery which has excellent quality stimulating a sense organ. Alternatively, the frozen confectionery contains <5 wt.% of triglyceride fat, polydextrose, and karaya gum. The frozen confectionery has a combination of excellent quality stimulating a sense organ, and a fat concentration which is substantially decreased compared to standard fat, especially premium and super premium ice cream. A triglyceride fat concentration preferably of <1 wt.% and more preferably of <0.5 wt.% is used for the frozen confectionery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
