PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a crank hammering sound generated at the hit of a main journal to a journal bearing part.SOLUTION: An oil sump chamber 11 is formed at a journal bearing part 2R which journals a main journal 4a of a crank shaft 4 via a main metal 3R, and a flow-in port of an oil flow-in passage 11a and a flow-out port of an oil flow-out passage 11b communicating with the oil sump chamber 11 are opened at a downstream side and an upstream side by sandwiching a region of a bearing face 2a to which the main journal 4a is hit therebetween. A lubricant staying in the oil sump chamber 11 is supplied to an oil groove 3a of the main metal 3R following the rotation of the main journal 4a, and by the supplied lubricant, vibration energy at the hit of the main journal 4a to the main metal 3R is converted to motion energy and thermal energy, and a crank hammering sound is reduced. |
