<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved man-machine interface and an improved machine-machine interface.SOLUTION: A system includes; an interface including a first conductive structure that forms at least a portion of an electrode, and is configured to be coupled with an apparatus for conveying electrical signals or electricity; a touch sensor coupled to the first conductive structure, and is configured to make a determination of whether or not a variable electrical characteristic of the electrode has a value that is consistent with a variable electrical characteristic of the electrode being touched; and an output device that produces human-perceptible indicia in response to a determination that the variable electrical characteristic has the value that is consistent with the value of the variable electrical characteristic of the electrode being touched.</p> |
