<p>The present invention relates to a novel metagenome-derived cellulase and a method for producing the same and, more specifically, to a cellulase (CelEx-CBR12) selected from a metagenomic library extracted from cattle lumen suspension using robotic high-throughput screening, a gene coding the cellulase, and a method for producing a recombinant cellulase. The CelEx-CBR12 selected in the present invention has both exoceullase and endocellulase activities, thereby being used for production of bioethanol using cellulosic biomass and also used in many industrial fields including production of textiles, cleaning agents, feed, foods, pulp, and paper.</p> |
