The present invention relates to a pipe centering welding jig and a pipe welding method using the same. The pipe centering welding jig comprises a plate which is formed of a metal plate having a constant thickness to space pipes in contact with each other by being inserted between the pipes and has an auxiliary fixing groove to align and fix connection portion of the pipe; a flange which is connected to one end of the plate and aligns the position of the pipe by being in contact with the inner wall of the connection portion; and a wedge which is inserted into the fixing groove of the plate and aligns and fixes the pipe in contact with the outer wall of the connection portion of the pipe.
