PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser inn which the first header tank has no segment protruded out of an over-cooling part.SOLUTION: The first header tank 3 of a condenser comprises a cylindrical main body 18 having opened lower end and an anti-leakage member 19 for preventing refrigerant out of the cylindrical main body 18. A female screw member 21 is arranged at a height position corresponding to an over-cooling part within the cylindrical main body 18 of the first header tank 3. The female screw member 21 is provided with a cylindrical part 22 having both upper and lower opened ends and having a female thread 23 at its inner peripheral surface. A male thread 29 of a male screw member 28 is threadably engaged with the female thread 23 of the female screw member 21. A refrigerant flowing space 24 is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical main body 18 and the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 22 of the female screw member 21. The end part of over-cooling part heat exchanger pipe 2 is protruded into the refrigerant flowing space 24. |
