<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced plate glass which has sufficient surface strength, and which can be fabricated at high production efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforced plate glass is composed of inorganic oxide glass, and is provided with compressive stress layers brought about by chemical reinforcement on respective plate surfaces opposed to each other in a plate thickness direction. Plate end faces have regions where compressive stress is formed and regions where no compressive stress is formed, and a compressive stress value of at least one plate surface is 610-1,500 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
