PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a computer system which provides a storage area capable of storing all data of a working set, and can perform high speed access.SOLUTION: A computer comprises a processor, memory connected to the processor, and an I/O device connected to the processor. The memory includes a first memory element and a second memory element whose property is different from the first memory element. A memory area provided by the second memory element includes a data storage area and a data compression area. The computer includes a virtualization management unit for managing a virtual computer to which computer resources of the computer are allocated. The virtualization management unit sets the working set storing data necessary for processing executed by the virtual computer to the data storage area at generation of the virtual computer, and performs control so that a part of the data stored in the working set is stored in the data compression area on the basis of an access situation of the data stored in the working set. |
