PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for solar battery backside sealing which is satisfactory in hydrolysis resistance and cost.SOLUTION: A polyester film for solar battery backside sealing comprises 15 wt.% or more of recovered polyester. The polyester film has an intrinsic viscosity (IV) of 0.62-0.73 dl/g, and 35 equivalent/t or less of terminal carboxyl groups(AV). The polyester film further includes: a coating layer "A" formed on one side "A" thereof by applying a coating liquid containing an acrylic resin, an epoxy compound and an oxazoline compound to the one side "A" of the polyester film; a fluorine polymer layer on the surface of the coating layer; a coating layer "B" formed from a coating liquid containing polyurethane having at least one of a polycarbonate skeleton and a polyether skeleton and a crosslinking agent on the other side "B" of the polyester film; and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer on the surface of the coating layer. |
