This disclosure relates to systems and methods for projecting an image from a primary display onto a secondary display and enabling the user to interact with the user device by touching the secondary display. The secondary display may be positioned to intercept the light emitted from the primary display. 1. A method, comprising:
displaying content on a primary display of a user device, the content comprising selectable elements that enable execution one or more commands on the user device; refracting light emitted from the primary display using a secondary display, the light being encoded with at least a portion of the content being displayed on the primary display; determining a contact location of a touch contact made on the secondary display; determining a selectable element on the primary display that corresponds to the contact location on the secondary display; and executing at least one command on the user device that is associated with the selectable element when the selectable element on the primary display is determined to correspond to the contact location on the secondary display.
