PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear of a fixing device to improve durability of the fixing device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing device 20 including a fixing belt 21, and a pressure roller 26 that is brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the fixing belt 21 to form a nip part N with the fixing belt 21; and fixing device inclination means 30 for inclining the fixing device 20 having a nip length direction of the nip part N provided perpendicular to a conveyance direction of a recording medium, with respect to the conveyance direction of the recording medium. The fixing device inclination means 30 inclines the fixing device 20 on the basis of a nip length of the nip part N and size information on the recording medium. |
