PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power circuit that implements improvement in power conversion efficiency and prevention of a noise-induced malfunction in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A drive circuit 5 includes a negative voltage generation circuit 6 operative to shift a square wave voltage to a negative side so as to include a negative voltage such that a negative voltage is applied to a gate voltage of a FET switching element 3 to turn off the FET switching element 3, and a protection circuit 7 arranged between the negative voltage generation circuit 6 and a gate G of the FET switching element 3 to operate the negative voltage generation circuit 6 independently of a parasitic diode Dp of the FET switching element 3, so that the square wave voltage including the negative voltage is applied to the gate voltage of the FET switching element 3. |
