<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel action force detection device which facilitates attaching to a vehicle, has a simple constitution, is easily manufactured, and dispenses with complicated arithmetic processing for output processing.SOLUTION: A wheel action force detection device comprises: a fitting part 20 fixed to a vehicle body side member supported by a suspension device; a hub 10 to which a wheel W is fixed and which is supported so as to be rotatable around an axle with respect to the fitting part; a susceptor which has a cylindrical part 111 substantially concentrically formed with the axle, with one end part 113 of the cylindrical part being fixed to the fitting part, the other end part 112 being connected to the hub via a hub bearing; and component force detection means having a bridge circuit including at least four strain gauges for one component force provided on the circumferential surface of the cylindrical part of the susceptor. The hub bearing includes: a radial bearing 40 provided between the susceptor and the hub and bearing a load in the radial direction; and a thrust bearing 50 provided between the susceptor and the hub, bearing a load in the thrust direction, and provided separately from the radial bearing.</p> |
