a well formed in said single-board sports board, said well comprising an interior race; a shaft comprising an exterior race; and a ball-bearing assembly comprising a cylindrically-shaped device that houses a plurality of ball bearings, said ball-bearing assembly positioned between said interior race and said exterior race, said ball-bearing assembly presenting some of said plurality of ball bearings for rotational contact with said interior race or said exterior race, said shaft housed within a circumference of said cylindrically-shaped device.
