摘要 The present invention relates to an online game providing technique. An online game providing method according to one implementation example of the disclosed technique is implemented on a game providing server which can be simultaneously connected with multiple game clients through a network, and provide an online game by enabling each of the connected multiple game clients to operate a different character. The online game providing method comprises the following steps: (a) a step of providing an online game by classifying multiple game clients related to a single game room into at least two teams hostile to each other, and arranging multiple characters operated by each of the multiple game clients in a predetermined virtual space; (b) a step of providing a resurrection/reinforced buff function which assigns a preset resurrection standby time to a first character, which is in a dead state, among the multiple characters and enables a user to select at least one reinforced buff, which can be applied to the first character, during the resurrection standby time; (c) and a step of applying the effect of the at least one reinforced buff, which is selected through the resurrection/reinforced buff function, to the first character and relocating the first character to the virtual space when the resurrection standby time is up. The present invention enables a user to select a reinforced buff, which can be applied after a resurrection, while waiting for the resurrection after a character died in a predetermined shooting game played by operating the character, thereby providing a strategic game option for the user during a resurrection standby time, wherein the user had to simply wait, and therefore, attracting interest from the user about the game during the entire game.
