The present invention involves assembling an electronic component into a storage member by inserting an electronic component (21) having lead terminals (25) into a storage member (23), and engaging the lead terminals with terminal fittings (22) held by the storage member (23). The lead terminals are equipped with connecting sections (29) which are contiguous with base-end sections (28) and extend downward along lateral surfaces of the component body. The storage member is equipped with a first storage chamber (38) for storing a component body, and second storage chambers (39) for holding the terminal fittings. The first storage chamber is surrounded by frame-shaped wall sections. The second storage chambers are formed on the outside of the wall sections of the first storage chamber. The terminal fittings are positioned in a manner such that spring sections (37) thereof for pressing on the connecting sections face a lateral surface of the component body stored in the first storage chamber, with a wall section sandwiched therebetween. As a result, it is possible to suppress the vibrations of an electronic component by using a simple configuration.
