PURPOSE: A multi-channel recording apparatus is provided to increase the reproduction speed of a multi-channel recording apparatus and to increase the size of data load. CONSTITUTION: A reading cache unit(110) stores loaded image data. A reproduction control unit(120) loads image data from a specific channel location to the last location of a corresponding reading cache block. The reproduction control unit records image data to the reading cache unit. Reading cache blocks, which are allocated to the stored multi channel image file of a hard disk, request the reading of the specific channel location.
