<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant supply device that constantly supplies lubricant on an image carrier in a stable and uniform manner without experiencing shortage of lubricant to be supplied on an image carrier over periods of time, and accurately detects a time for replacement of solid lubricant, as well as a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A lubricant supply device includes: a pair of rotation members 16g that is rotatably supported by a holding member 16c that holds solid lubricant 16b; an energizing member 16h that rotates the pair of rotation members 16g so as to come into pressure contact with a case 16c, and energizes the holding member 16c in a direction to come close to a lubricant supply roller 16a; and detection means 31 for detecting that the pair of rotation members 16g has rotated to a position exceeding a predetermined rotation range, and thereby detecting a time for replacement of the solid lubricant 16b.</p> |
