The present invention relates to a method for determining the grade of Hanwoo using fatty acid portion thereof and a DNA marker and a primer set associated with the same and, more specifically, to a method for determining the grade of Hanwoo using Hanwoo′s fatty acid score by detecting high single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of THRSP genes directly related to generation of fatty acid in adipose tissues and identifying genotype having the high scores of fatty acid among the detected SNP. The method of the present invention is safer than an existing technology using RNA, can predict Hanwoo′s fatty acid and marbling scores through the detection of high SNP in THRSP genes by using the accurate DNA marker and can be used for detecting, improving Hanwoo by evaluating the grade of Hanwoo using the same.
