The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring surface temperature of a steel plate in accelerated cooling equipment and, more particularly, to an apparatus capable of simultaneously measuring temperature of upper and lower portions of a steel plate in accelerated cooling equipment. An apparatus for measuring surface temperature of a steel plate in accelerated cooling equipment according to the present invention includes a first photo detector for measuring temperature of an upper surface of the steel plate while the accelerated cooling equipment is operated; a second photo detector for measuring temperature of a lower surface of the steel plate when the first photo detector measures the temperature of the upper surface of the steel plate; and an up/down moving unit for dropping the first photo detector when the first photo detector measures the temperature of the upper surface of the steel plate.
