A method for offering a location information service in a mobile communication network, and a location information service server and an LBS(Location Based Service) system are provided to precisely check situation of a tracked person by offering multimedia information of the tracked person to a location information requestor. When a first mobile terminal requests a location information service for a second mobile terminal to a service server, the service server receives a location information calculation result for the second mobile terminal through an LBS system(S310). The LBS system inquires the second mobile terminal to make multimedia contents(S312). Location information of the second mobile terminal and the multimedia contents made by the second mobile terminal are transferred to the service server(S318). The service server generates multimedia map contents including the location by mixing the location information and the multimedia contents to map data(S320). The service server transmits the multimedia map contents to the first mobile terminal(S322). |
