<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous manufacturing process which has a narrow residence time distribution to inhibit side reactions and can obtain a living cationic polymer of the same structure as designed with a small degree of dispersion in continuously carrying out the living cationic polymerization reaction. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process for carrying out the polymerization of polymerizable monomers by continuously supplying a solution (A) including a polymerization initiator, a first polymerizable monomer, and a polymerization solvent and a solution (B) including a Lewis acid catalyst and a polymerization solvent to a first mixing section and successively to a first reaction section connected with the first mixing section, the inner diameter of the reaction section is set at 1 mm or more and the inner diameter D (mm) of the first mixing section and the flow rate U (m/sec) in the first mixing section is set in the range meeting the formula (1): 50>D×U>0.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
