A composition with covering power 25-90 for application to the skin, lips and/or phanera comprising a first coloration agent comprising particles comprising particles of at least one composite pigment comprising an inorganic nucleus and an at least partial coating of one or more organic colorants in such quantity that the saturation C *> of the composition is 25-100. Independent claims are included for the following comprising the claimed composition: (1) lipstick; (2) foundation; (3) nail varnish; (4) mascara; (5) hair dye; and (6) a method of make up of the skin, lips or phanera by application of the claimed composition.
