PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fishing line guide capable of reducing weight and increasing strength, and molding a frame of the fishing line guide in which holes are formed without reducing the strength. SOLUTION: The fishing line guide 1 has the frame 2 formed of fiber-reinforced synthetic resin, and the surface shape of the frame 2 is displaced in the lateral and vertical directions. The frame 2 is formed by: a step for forming a space corresponding to the three-dimensional shape of the frame in a mold for molding the frame, and disposing fiber-reinforced synthetic resin at positions corresponding to the frame and holes 8A, 9A and 3a formed in the frame in the space formed in the mold; a step for obtaining a three-dimensional compact whose surface shape is displaced in longitudinal, lateral and vertical directions corresponding to the shape of the frame by the mold by pressurizing the fiber-reinforced synthetic resin; and a step for processing and forming the holes 8A, 9A and 3a in the compact.
