A shut-off valve assembly for a pressurised cylinder. The shut-off valve comprising a valve body 2 containing a valve element which seals with a valve seat (11 figure 1). A lever 27 is coupled to the valve element, such that rotation of the lever causes linear movement of the valve element. A spring (15 figure 1) is arranged to bias the lever closed. The assembly further comprises a one or more damping members 62 between the housing and the lever to cushion the housing against impact from the lever when the lever is closed by the spring. |
