The device has adhesive applicator device (4) that is arranged at side of support (1) for applying adhesive to-be-bonded portion of cardboard. A blank holder (6) is arranged above the support and is movable perpendicular to plane of the support for lowering to a board surface according to cardboard size and maintaining to-be-bonded portion by holding cardboard between lowered blank holder and the support. A pressure element (8) is provided for pressing the portion to be bonded with to-be-bonded portion. An independent claim is included for cardboard bonding method.
