According to an embodiment of the present invention, a liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate; a plurality of gate wires and a plurality of data wires which are located on the first substrate; a plurality of thin film transistors which are independently connected to the gate wires and the data wires; an organic film located on the thin film transistors; and a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of common electrodes which are located on the organic film, are overlapped by each other, and interpose a first insulating film therebetween. The common electrode includes a plurality of first incised parts. The first insulating film includes a plurality of second incised parts. The first incised part and the second incised part have the same planar shape.
