An LED backlight drive circuit. The LED backlight drive circuit comprises a time-sequence control module (10), LED light bars (20) and a drive module (30) coupled with the outputs of the LED light bars. The drive module (30) comprises at least one constant current drive chip (31) driving the LED light bars to display. The time-sequence control module (10) is used for outputting drive signals in sequence to the constant current drive chip (31). The drive signals comprise data units arranged in sequence, and each data unit comprises the current duty and delay time of each LED light bar (20). The constant current drive chip (31) is used for directly reading the data of the corresponding data unit to drive the LED light bars (20) to display. Also provided are a liquid crystal display device comprising the LED backlight drive circuit and a drive method for the LED backlight drive circuit.
