A coil antenna (10) is disposed on the inner face of a prescribed keytop (1) among key input devices. A power supply coil (20) which is magnetically coupled to the coil antenna, and an RFIC (40), are mounted upon a substrate (50) whereupon key switches are retained. NFC is made possible by bringing a device comprising NFC close to the keytop (1). It becomes possible to read an RFID tag by bringing the RFID tag close to the keytop (1). Thus, a key input device and an electronic apparatus are configured without disposing an antenna on the exterior of a casing, and which are not prone to being affected by a casing of an electronic apparatus for embedding.
