摘要 <p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting a time to defrost an evaporation heat exchanger based on a bypass airflow measurement and a method for controlling operations of the same. The present invention provides an apparatus for detecting the time to defrost an evaporation heat exchanger based on a bypass airflow measurement, the apparatus comprising: a flow rate detection unit for detecting the flow rate resulting from an airflow caused inside a body cover of the evaporation heat exchanger through bypass piping; a digital input unit capable of receiving an instruction to allow or stop defrosting; a key manipulation unit supporting an interface for setting value adjustments necessary for a defrosting operation or an average value measurement mode; a control unit for controlling the defrosting operation, an alarm output control, and an operating state display operation based on a defrosting operation necessary condition set by the user and a flow rate change rate measured by the flow rate detection unit; a memory unit for storing an average value regarding the flow rate change amount and a user parameter; and a relay driving unit for transferring a valve control signal of the control unit, and a method for controlling the operation of the apparatus, so that the defrosting operation can be controlled efficiently without erroneous operations.</p>
